Mechanophobia

Character line-up for my take #2 for my final project in animation, but my skill wasn't enough to finish what I've started. I took a big risk on re-animating my project 3 weeks before the deadline. Of course I failed doing the "3 weeks thesis stint".

With all the heavy burden i inflicted upon myself, my lovelife (Eveth Nocon) still found a way to support and help me on especially on the production phase for my thesis. She sacrificed her sleeping hours just to help her boyfriend....the fool me. But it still wasn't enough. Even though the outcome was bad, she provided me with great inspiration to move on and to continue improving.

We had a deal not to post something about my thesis, so I won't be posting my background designs for now. Might post it in the future.

Here's what I've been busy for the last several weeks...my THESIS!!! (*dun dun dun dun dun!*)

I tried animating traditionally in Flash cs4 with a pen tablet, and here's the result. Cleaned it up before posting and I'm still trying to learn animating head turns as my character walks (one of my weaknesses..but i'm trying). This one was a scene from my previous project but i abandoned it for some reasons.

Paralipophobia (Oh it's been a while)

Character Concept design. Yup it somehow resembles Gorillaz' Murdoc Niccals but it wasn't intentional. I just realized it when some distant friend pinpoint it to me :D
